City of Clintonville Converts Surplus Pickup into Dependable Plow and Dump Truck

In March of 1999, the City of Clintonville Public Works Department purchased a 1984 Chevrolet one ton; four wheel drive pickup truck from the Federal Property Program for $5,500. The truck has now been converted into a plow truck and a hoist was added to create a dump box. The total cost of materials for this project came to $4,300. As a result of the talents of the Public Works Department, and about 400 man-hours of work, the City of Clintonville will have a very dependable piece of equipment for years to come.
